Matthew 24: verses 35 & 36.

I understand thousands of people quit their jobs last week thinking the end of the world was coming. Kind of reminds me of years ago when a lot of people moved to a certain mountain to await the Lord's coming. The end could have come last week, but it certainly wouldn't have been because of some man's prediction. Read Matthew 24, verses 35 & 36.

Let the Bible Interpret Itself

So many people, when reading the bible to prove their point, select a verse and quote it out of context. For instance :
St. John, Chapter 3, verse 16:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

It’s heart breaking to watch people on television walk down the aisle toward the speaker, thinking that’s all they have to do to be saved. We certainly believe in God before we follow his commandments to inherit eternal life. In Matthew 28, verses 16 through 20,
16: Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
17: And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and , lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Why would Jesus tell his disciples this if it was to be left out of the plan of salvation?
